Conducting Business Responsibly
At Paladin, our vision is to be a passionate, trusted and respected company. To help achieve this goal, we will implement the Paladin Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct provides our directors, officers and other employees with clear, concise and firm guidelines for ethical business conduct and is supported and reinforced at all levels of Paladin. We also will publish Paladin’s Three Pillars Policy to spell out exactly what we expect of one another as Paladin employees. The Three Pillars focuses on our culture, our colleagues and our compliance commitment. The policy contained in the Three Pillars is grounded in Paladin’s founding principles to encourage an environment of mutual respect, accountability, trust and transparency.

Ensuring Equal Employment Opportunity
Paladin provides equal employment opportunity for all qualified individuals, regardless of their age, gender, marital status, national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation, military or veteran status, or any other category protected by applicable law. All employment decisions are based on job-related requirements. This policy pertains to recruiting, hiring, training and development, promotions, compensation, benefits, transfers, education, company activities and all other aspects of employment with Paladin. Our leadership team is responsible for bringing this policy to the attention of all employees, for implementing it through diversity awareness at all company operations within their areas of responsibility, and for ensuring that all personnel actions are administered in a manner consistent with this policy.

Providing a Great Work Environment
Attracting and retaining top talent is a key focus of Paladin. To accomplish this, we will offer competitive compensation, health and welfare benefits and opportunities for advancement and training. Our compensation program is based on competitive market analysis, job responsibilities and individual performance. In addition, to enhance our employees' financial well being, we will offer a competitive profit sharing plan. We will also promote a personnel development program, which promotes continual dialogue on learning and growth opportunities between supervisors and employees. To complement this important program, we will develop training programs and offer a competitive education assistance program for qualified individuals.

Promoting a Culture of Compliance
All of our people are expected to comply in all respects with the laws, rules and regulations that apply to Paladin and our business. This requirement applies to both the letter and the spirit of the law.

Supporting Our Local Communities
We know that running a sustainable business requires more than just providing excellent risk-adjusted returns. To be truly sustainable, Paladin must be an active participant in the communities where our employees live, work and play. Ultimately, we depend on the health and vitality of these communities for our social license to operate. We count good citizenship among our core values, and it will take many forms at Paladin.

The Heart of Paladin: Our Employees Volunteer
Paladin’s community participation will be driven by our employees who may contribute to various company-sponsored or individual volunteer efforts to enhance the quality of life in our communities. Together with our employees, Paladin will make financial and in-kind contributions to support a variety of community organizations.
